Estate sale find. One is in pretty good condition, the other one is kind of rough. The one in better condition does have an origianl tag still attached (barely) that dates it to the 1950s or 60s. I have no idea what these were used for, but I suspect it was a way to keep the wool hunting shirts off the skin without making the combination too hot. They are freshly laundered in scent free detergent and were hung dry. Stretched, they are about 20” pit to pit and 30” long. They did come from a smoker’s home, but as I mentioned, they were washed and line dried outside. I no longer detect an odor.
