I get it. Shipping prices stink—for buyers and sellers, alike. They keep going up and it’s frustrating. None of us can control it. However, I only charge you what I am charged by the carrier. I have the receipts to show eBay. So, by bidding, you agree to the displayed shipping charges shown before you bid/purchase. If not, feel free to buy the item from someone else.
Refunds for returns or damages will be for the original purchase price less the original shipping charges you paid. If you received the item to be able to see damages and/or return it, then the shipping service paid for was successful in delivering the package. The original shipping charges paid will be returned for lost packages ONLY. If this does not work for you, feel free to buy the item from someone else.
· Displayed delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. I relinquish custody of your item to the shipping carrier and I can’t control what they do with it once they have the package. I will open inquiries for you if it is taking too long, and report to you what I’m told by the carrier, but I still don’t have control over your item.
· eBay requires tracking numbers to prove the items have shipped to maintain seller standing. A stamp does not come with a tracking number. Everything must ship as a package to provide a tracking number.
· I combine shipping when possible. Some items are too large and/or heavy to ship together.
· Unpaid items will be canceled as soon as eBay allows me to unless you contact me first. I will hold items to combine shipping later. Just let me know.
· I do not accept offers on any of my auctions or end them early. I let the auctions run and see where they end up.
· eBay requires sellers to ship to verified addresses only. If your address on file with eBay is not the address you want to use, please change it in your account settings before paying. I will cancel the order if asked to ship to a different address since it is a violation of eBay's rules.
I ship to the United States only. I do not ship internationally. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Thanks for looking.
******A NOTE ON SHIPPING******
Directly from the United States Postal Service:
Any package with a side greater than 22 inches but less than 30 inches has a $4 surcharge added directly by the USPS.
Any package with a side 30 inches or longer, or is greater than 2 cubic feet in volume, has a $15 surcharge added directly by the USPS.
"Dimensional Weight:
The dimensional weight price may be applied to Priority Mail® parcels, USPS Retail Ground parcels, Parcel Select parcels, and Global Express Guaranteed® parcels, but use and calculation of that price is different for those mail classes.
· The calculated dimensional weight may be applied if the package exceeds 1 cubic foot in volume. Postage price of the item is based on the actual weight OR the calculated dimensional weight, whichever is greater.
"Determining Dimensional Weight for Rectangular Parcels
Follow these steps to determine the dimensional weight for a rectangular parcel:
a. Measure the length, width, and height in inches. Round off each measurement to the nearest whole inch.
b. Multiply the length by the width by the height.
c. If the result exceeds 1,728 cubic inches, divide the result by 166 and round up to the next whole number to determine the dimensional weight in pounds.
d. If the dimensional weight exceeds 70 pounds, the customer pays the 70-pound price."
FedEx and UPS use dimensional weight on all packages, when applicable.
