FASHIONED OF AN IVORY COTTON WITH A BEAUTIFUL ROSE PRINT RUNNING THROUGHOUT. BOTTOM HEM IS IN BOX PLEATING WITH THE VERY BOTTOM EDGE HEM FINISHED IN LIPSTICK RED RUFFLED WOOL BINDING.
BUTTON CLOSES THE REAR, THE BUTTON IS MISSING.
CONDITION: FRESH FROM THE MUSEUM AND WE HAVE NOT LAUNDERED THIS PIECE. SEVERAL SMALL SPOTS OF AGE COLOR MUST BE HUNTED FOR. NO HOLES. THE REAR HAS TWO SLEEVES ON THE INTERIOR THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN FOR STRIPS OF BONING, NEW BONING COULD EASILY BE FED INTO THE SLEEVES, JUST SIMPLY ADD TIES FOR ADJUSTING.
