OVERVIEW

The Radar Renegade R/T is a rugged terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs light trucks. Radar offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with P metric sizes of this model.

This tire is covered by Radar Road Hazard warranty. Tires are eligible for an equivalent replacement if the damage caused was within the first 2/32 of tread wear or the first year after the purchase of the tire, whichever comes first. The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The detailed tread design and the all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread elements maintain their firm and consistent grip on the road and terrain surface, even when driving on ice and snow. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility to ensure heightened traction throughout the year. The wide circumferential grooves avoid hydroplaning when driving on-road by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The tread design's self-cleaning capability prevents snow from packing into the grooves and blocking the tire's surface contact in winter weather.

The model's tread design and durable compound enable its off-road performance. The tire is a mix between an all terrain and a mud terrain tire, as it guarantees a comfortable on-road performance, while maintaining an aggressive performance on all off-road surfaces. The rugged tread design with the staggered tread blocks, wide grooves, open shoulders and detailed upper sidewall pattern increase the soft, loose and uneven terrain grip, while also providing a secure on-road traction. The tread enables the tire's rugged terrain performance as the elements firmly grip the terrain surface. The upper sidewall detail promotes sideway biting edges to enhance the tire's forward motion in deep mud and loose dirt. The tread elements clean out mud stuck between them to guarantee the model's constant terrain surface contact.

The durable compound, reinforced structure and the tread design help resists damage. The durable compound prevents the chipping, cracking and tearing of the tread area, while the strengthened internal structure avoids punctures from causing the tire's deflation. The special stone ejecting ribs of the tread area hinder stone retention from harming the tire's casing. It ejects rocks from between the tread elements and prohibits them from drilling into the casing and puncturing the tire. The better damage resistance offers a safer driving experience on- and off-road surfaces.

The tire extends its tread life by utilizing the detailed tread design, the reinforced internal structure and the durable tire compound. The detailed tread pattern upgrades the road contact, while the construction maintains the optimal tire shape to secure a constant road contact. The better contact with the road and terrain surface enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids uneven tread wear formation. The durable tire compound is wear-resistant, which significantly slows the tread wear rate down. This combination ensures a lengthened tread life and usability.

The Renegade R/T is easily controlled both on- and off-road. The reinforced internal structure and the optimal center tread block placement improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability with their constant surface contact. The strengthened construction keeps the tire's ideal shape at all times and it prevents its deformation under the driving and load pressure affecting the tire. The wider center tread block placement increases the tire's contact with the road and terrain surface to improve its controllability. As a result, the tire encourages a faster and more accurate steering response to the driver's commands, while also stabilizing the structure during the drive.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
