OVERVIEW

The Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for light truck vehicles. Cooper offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The special damage resistant silica compound and the five-rib design work together to guarantee a first-rate dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The silica compound does not lose its flexibility in colder temperatures, while the tread elements maintain good road grip at all times. The wide zigzag tread grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. This ensures a safer driving experience in all weather, promoting better performance.

The tread design and tire compound combined increase the all terrain traction. They allow the tire to conquer all soft, loose and uneven terrain surfaces with ease and ensure a safer drive. The staggered tread blocks of the five-rib tread design enhance the road grip both on and off-road, making the tire more versatile in its use. The staggered tread block, alternating scoops and special stone ejecting ledges enhance the tread's self-cleaning ability. They eliminate mud and snow and eject stones stuck between the tread elements to maintain a clean footprint and prevent stone retention, which can harm the tread area.

The model was made with the Even Wear Arch Technology. This technology evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, braking and cornering actively prevent irregular tread wear formations across the tread area. The resistance of uneven wear extends the tire's usability and tread life significantly. The strategically balanced driving pressure also improves the model's handling. It increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability thanks to the even pressure circulation and the reinforced steel belted internal structure. The better controllability ensures a more secure drive both on and off road.

The model provides a quiet driving experience. The tread design features the special whisper grooves that create a sound barrier to decrease the road noise levels heard during the drive. While the tires are in motion, the whisper grooves actively channel the airwaves through the tire's footprint, without letting them come into contact with the tread elements. This decreases the road noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin and ensures a comfortable and enjoyable drive in all weather and on all terrain surfaces.

The Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT's internal structure features a two-ply polyester casing and twin steel belts reinforced with a nylon ply. These strengthen the tire's durability during the drive by preventing deformation under the driving pressure. The tire maintains its optimal shape when driving on and off-road and ensures a safer driving experience in all weather.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
