PACKAGING

To ensure that there is no confusion about how your order will be packaged we have included our packaging practices below.

 

After more than a decade of shipping comics all over the world we have found a few things that work and a bunch of things that do not. The following practices reflect the approach that works best to prevent damage in transit by the postal service and ultimately ensure that you receive this order in the condition that is advertised in the item condition section.

 

Individual bags and boards are NOT INCLUDED with your order.

  

We understand that bags and boards may be important to your collecting and storage preferences, but they are a liability when being used for shipping purposes. What prevents comic books from being damaged in the mail is making sure they do not shift in the package. For this reason, we will be shipping your order with all comics bagged together (alternating spines) in a snug comic bag. That bag will then be wrapped in packing paper and bound to an oversized, hand modified piece of protective cardboard. This is then placed in a quarter fold heavy duty cardboard mailer. We have found that bags and boards do nothing where shipping is concerned to protect your comics. If the postal service damages our packaging bad enough to reach the comic, bags and boards would simply be more damaged product that offers no additional protection. For this reason, we do not include them. If bags and boards are important to you, please send us a message BEFORE making your purchase.

 

COVER ART

All cover art advertised in our listings is provided by the publishers prior to publication and is subject to change or be incorrect. Final art may vary and will have trade dress, logos, titles, issue numbers, UPC, etc. Please note due to time constraints, we do not update these photos after the comic is released. Again, if you have any questions about a cover you need to email us BEFORE making your purchase.
