OVERVIEW

The General Grabber HTS is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for sport utility and light truck vehicles. General offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty for the T speed rated SUV sizes and a 45,000 mile one for the H speed rated SUV sizes and all the light truck sizes.

These specific tires are Dealer Take Off Tires. This means that the tire was once mounted on a vehicle before taken off by a dealer at a dealership. These tires have not been driven on. They have 100% of tread life remaining.

The tire promotes excellent all weather road gripping ability. The special tread design features Response Grooves, Stabilink Bars and three different siping designs that ensure exceptional dry, wet and winter weather traction. The Hydro Channels eliminate water and slush effectively from beneath the tire footprint, improving the tire's hydroplaning resistance significantly.

The specially placed Response Grooves and Stabilink Bars ensure superb controllability. The Stabilink Bars improve the tread's circumferential stability, which enhances the tire against the driving pressure affecting it. The Response Grooves increase the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This enhances the driver's control over the tire as the stabilized tire is quick and precise in its response to their instructions. The better controllability guarantees a safer driving experience.

The model promotes a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The tread pattern design's noise-capturing pockets trap the soundwaves and channels them through the tire footprint, decreasing the road noise heard in the vehicle while the tires are in motion. The internal cushioning system absorbs the shock of driving and prevents road vibrations from disturbing the comfort levels of the drive. The result is a more enjoyable drive.

The tire's internal structure features high strength steel belts, a micro-fiber casing reinforcement and a broad tire contour. This strengthens the tire against the driving pressure and alows it to withstand the forces affecting it. The reinforced structure prevents the tire's shape from deforming, which enables the model to perform to its best capability in all conditions.

The Grabber HTS offers a fuel efficient driving experience. The special Eco-Ride tire compound decreases the rolling resistance affecting the tires during the drive. The lowered rolling resistance decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, offering a budget-conscious and environmentally friendly model.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
