The book is in POOR condition overall, as the front cover and several pages are complete separated from the book. There is extensive foxing throughout the book and some of the spine has chipped off. The binding is tight and there is some foxing throughout. The book has beautiful yellow endpapers in front and back, as well as faded marbling along the page edges! No pages are missing, and most of the maps and portraits are in EXCELLENT condition! When was the last time you saw a Civil War book published immediately at the conclusion of the war?!
