Mother Night was first published as a paperback in 1962. Four years later, in 1966, Harper & Row did a first hardcover printing of 5,500 copies. This is one of those 5,500 copies, with an earlier signature of Vonnegut's where he included the jr, which I believe he dropped in the early/mid 70's.

The book itself is in nice condition with some shelf and text block wear, as can be seen in the photos. The dust jacket is great, but has a little waviness to it when seen up close. It's hard to see in the photos, and I believe could be easily corrected with some flattening work. It's a minor issue, and doesn't really hinder the beauty of this book.

I'm open to offers, so feel free to reach out. I'm also listing some other rare Vonnegut items, so check those out, or let me know if there's something you're looking for. Thanks!
