Up for auction is a killer Italian Library album from
the legendary Flipper vaults, released on the renowned Deneb label. This
extraordinary LP features music by Maestro Gerardo Iacoucci, under the
pseudonym “H. Caiage.” It includes some of the most impressive and groovy beats
in the library music world.
Just listen to the first track, “Violenza,” to get a
sense of its power: devastatingly funky proto-Hip-Hop breaks with overpowering
drums and groove. Next up is the mind-blowing “Tradimento,” with
out-of-this-world open drum breaks, followed by the Psychedelic Free Jazz “Speedway.” “From Tokyo to Las Vegas” rounds out the album with another killer Psychedelic Funk heater, featuring more proto-Hip-Hop grooves.
