Wonderful original signed sketch by Crockett Johnson of his famed cartoon character, BARNABY. The sketch in green ink measures 5”x6” and comes matted. Crockett Johnson is the author and illustrator of the classic, HAROLD AND THE PURPLE CRAYON series of books.

The sketch is in excellent condition. It was acquired about 25 years ago, was never displayed and has been stored in a portfolio. I purchased it from another collector and it did not come with any paperwork and so I'm am selling the piece without authentication.
