Tamron 28-200mm Aspherical AF Lens - Canon EOS.  I used this with my Canon Rebel T4i with no issues.  I took the attached photos with it just now.  The diameter on this thing is amazing - I have a 72mm UV filter on there, mainly for lens protection.  A good lengthy zoom lens in a compact package.  Kind of fun to pull a different lens out of the bag now and then, and this might be just what you're looking for!
