This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of Eric Dolphy “Outward Bound” on the purple and silver labels of New Jazz NJLP 8236.  The playing surface is in near-new condition with a high luster; however, a pressing defect on the first track of Side B produces nine tics.   The laminated cover is in excellent condition; the back slick shows normal age toning and a ¾” superficial scrape on the left edge.; ½” wear on the top seam, at the opening; the bottom seam has a small lamination flake and 1/8” wear at the opening.  Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, Jaki Byard, George Tucker, and Roy Haynes. $150.00.
