VTG 1905 James Whitcomb RILEY SONGS O-CHEER book ILLUSTRATED Vawter

Riley Songs O’Cheer by James Whitcomb Riley

illustrated by Will Vawter

1905 Grosset & Dunlap

This hardcover book has pages in excellent condition! Looks unread. Cover excellent except fading to spine. Inscription in front “To Carrie, Christmas 1917”.

Included is the JRC poem, “The Passing of the Backhouse” (so funny!), in the same handwriting as the inscription in front.

Lovely illustrations by Vawter.

Check my other auctions for other children’s books, videos, science books, history books, early readers, series, picture, chapter, homeschool, and more!

I am happy to combine winning auctions to reduce shipping costs for you. Additional single book, DVD, or VHS auctions ship for $1 more per auction. Email for combined shipping costs for book lot, non-book auctions, or international shipping costs. Auction Wins/Store Purchases Must Be Submitted To PayPal As ONE Transaction To Qualify For Combined Shipping.

I will be adding more and more, so check back often to see what's new!

Thanks for considering my auction!

I happily discount for combined shipping. My policy for combined single book auctions is an additional $1 shipping per each single book auction (75 cents for Sonlight homeschool titles). EBay's shipping discount calculator doesn't take into account some factors, so if the shipping total provided by eBay for single book auctions is more than my policy, alert me to this and I will send you a revised invoice with correct shipping.

If you are purchasing book lots, then shipping is determined by weight, and the $1 per auction doesn't apply. They are still discounted in shipping, however, and should be reflected in the combined shipping totals provided by eBay. If the combined shipping total looks off, then email me and I can verify correct shipping. It will NOT be any more than ebay shows, but I will adjust costs down if necessary.

So sorry for the confusion while I try to navigate eBay's combined shipping choices. Email with any questions!
