Black hard boards with silver lettering on the spine. The dust jacket has some shelf wear, with edge and corner rubs, short tear and crease at the lower flap fold, and a short tear on the upper back edge. There is a Target store sale sticker on the lower front jacket and a torn $39.95 price sticker on the lower back.

Here is a used Ken Burns's The Civil War Commemorative Boxed Set that includes: The monumental book "The Civil War: An Illustrated History"; Full 6-dvd set of Ken Burns's film "The Civil War (as seen on PBS). It is missing the original soundtrack recording of the film.

I believe this boxed set was released in 2011. ISBN 978-0-307-29210-0.

- The complete landmark PBS television The Civil War A Film By Ken Burns 9-part program (on the first 5 discs) has been digitally enhanced for DVD with a soundtrack in 5.1 surround sound. Also comes with a Bonus Disc with Special Features, Interviews. Approx. 11 hours running time, full screen.

- Approx. 11 1/4" x 9 1/2" hardcover book with dust jacket "The Civil War An Illustrated History" by Geoffrey C. Ward with Ric Burns and Ken Burns. This is the companion volume to the celebrated PBS television series with more than 500 illustrations: rare Civil War photographs - many never before published - as well as paintings, lithographs, and maps reproduced in full color. Alfred A Knopf, Publisher. Has 426 pages.

The discs have minor scratches if any, hard to tell if they were watched. The front inner flap of the dust jacket is creased and there is light water damage to the lower corner and edge of about 2/3 of the pages. I show two close up examples of the light edge water stain as it fades out and the rippling along the closed page edges (last 3 pictures). Missing the soundtrack CD. The outer box has minor shelf wear, light scratches on the back. No musty or smoke odor.

This box set weighs about 4 1/4 lbs.

Lot 10 Laserdisc Action Godfather II Goodfellas Carlito's Way Schlindler's List
Here is a group of 10 used condition laser videodisc movies - action / adventure / drama / thriller themes. I am not the original owner and I do not have a laser disc player to test. I visually inspected and wiped with a soft cloth. May be some light scratches, smudges from handling. No cracks. Jackets have no cut-outs or notches. Each laser disc comes in a plastic or paper sleeve.

Laser discs are almost 12" dia. and are not DVD's, and will only play in a laserdisc player. I show a full example of a laser disc in my 2nd picture.

The jackets show a range of wear, scuffs, ring marks, creases, and may have price sticker(s). More wear along some of the spines. The Godfather Part II and Carlito's Way jackets have more wear overall. Some of the lower jacket edge of The Godfather II has come unglued, and some of the lower inner jacket edge of Schindler's List has come unglued. No shrink wrap. No musty or smoke odor.
