This listing is for 9 Hardcover Books Lot Antique Vintage Blue Gold Staging Prop Decor.

INFO:
You will receive the books that are pictured. Please note that these are for decorative purposes.

These were previously owned by a lieutenant colonel veteran, John "Bill" Espey. I had purchased these books from his estate sale recently and I wanted to honor him by helping his books find a new home where they can be loved and appreciated like he cared for them :) Some of the books will have his name written in them, and some may have names of relatives of his.
You can read more about Mr. Espey at these links:

Two of these books still include the original dust jackets as well, as shown in photo #8.
Mr. Espey liked to keep parts of dust jackets, so I have included those as well.

Years of the books in this lot:
1901, 1939, 1941, 1944, 1946, 1948, 1954, 1962
I am unsure of the exact year that the "Joe's Luck" by Horatio Alger book was printed, but I imagine that it was early 1900s.

MEASUREMENTS:
Length: 10.75"
Height: 8.75" (7.5" at the shortest)
Depth: 5.5"

CONDITION:
Please refer to my photos to get a good look at the condition! These books are in a good condition for books of this age.The outside of the books have general shelf wear such as scuffs, marks, creases, worn down edges, and discoloration. The inner pages of most of the books are a nice vintage tan color, and may have foxing. Mr. Espey may have underlined some things here and there, but typically the inner pages are free of any writing or pencil/pen marks. They may have other marks due to age, but none of the marks obscure any text. The binding of most of these books are in good condition, but "Joe's Luck" has loosened binding, as shown in photo #10. It still holds itself together well enough to be displayed properly, and can be handled with care. "Peony" has a page torn, as shown in photo #11, but this does not affect the display and it can still be handled with care. "The Story Of A Love Behind A Throne" has a signature in it that I do not recognize.

I have cleaned these books to the best of my ability, but please note that due to their age that they may be a bit dusty. Most of them typically have a nice "old book smell" which is most noticeable when flipping through the pages. These are sold as is, so please make sure to look over the photos and description!
