Volume 1 – [III – LXXIV] 444 pp. Pages 131-143, 291-293 standing proud but firmly attached, causing the page edges to be uneven.

Volume 2 – 494 pp. With 12 hand coloured plates, 7 to the first volume and 5 to the second.

Full crushed green morocco leather binding, boards decorated with gilt borders. Spine has five raised bands, decorated in faded gilt, two of the six compartments have gilt titles and the rest are decorated elaborately in gilt.

Front paste down on both volumes contains a Sir George Nugent bookplate, paste down and free endpapers are red.

A good set.
