1967 Swiss Omega De Ville, Ladies Automatic 24 Jewel Watch

Gold plated case and stainless steel back.

Case width; 17.5 mm (not including crown)
Case height; 23.7 mm (not including lugs)

The gold plating is badly worn in places, as shown in the photos. However, the losses are only obvious on close inspection.

Powered by a Swiss, ‘Omega calibre 661’, 24 jewel automatic movement, (reputedly the smallest ever industrial manufactured automatic movement, regarding the volume (diameter and height).

The movement serial number is very difficult to read but appears to be; 25193115. This would date the watch to 1967, which matches the period this movement was launched.

The movement appears to be clean and complete but currently does not run. The movement tries to tick when the balance wheel is nudged but it soon stops. Likely to need a full service to get it back up and running again.

Overall, this is a great vintage watch from a great brand. However, it does require a service to get it back up and running, (and possibly restoration to the gold plating if this causes concern).

Sold as shown. No returns please.
