Mic came in with a hole in it for a switch. Switch had no wires to it. So, I removed it and placed a 5k potentiometer in its place. This allows quick adjustment of amplification in the audio. I then cleaned up altered wiring putting it back to how it’s supposed to be. Cleaned key switch, replaced felt on base plate and choker. Hooked it up to My Stryker to test it out. Did some talking on it locally, and to 401 in east Florida from here in Arizona. Reports of great audio all around. These 10C heads were designed with Side band operation in mind, and were referred to as “The Voice” by Astatic. It is wired standard 4pin at present, but I can change it for your radio prior to shipping if you let me know what radio you have. 4pin adapters to work with most radios can be found through other sellers here on EBay. Shipped USPS!
