The ultra-slim 0.149-inch diameter 28AWG cable and narrow boot design reduces congestion and simplifies moves, additions, and changes. The stranded design makes them more flexible.

The cables are component tested, providing superior performance in 1 to 10 Gigabit applications. It's the perfect solution for high-performance applications, such as data centers and telecommunications rooms.

CMR cables, also called riser-rated cables, are constructed to prevent fires from spreading floor to floor in vertical installations. It's used when cables need to be run between floors through risers or vertical shafts.

The cables are made of 100% pure bare copper wire, as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire, and are therefore fully compliant with UL Code 444 and National Electrical Code TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety standards, which require pure bare copper wire in communications cables.
