Vintage 1950s 60s Black Siamese Cat Vase Ornament Kitsch Mid Century Modern.

Tall black cat vase.

Can be used as a vase or as an ornament.

Often referred to as the lucky black cats. These were popular in the 1960s and are now considered a kitsch item.

Condition:

This is a Vintage item with some signs of wear to her paint and glaze.

She is in fair to good condition given her age and this is reflected in the price.

Hand painted details: one painted eyebrow has rubbed and there is some fading/ paint rub to her neck tie.

There are some very tiny nicks to the glaze but minimal and they do not detract from this piece (they appear as tiny specks).

There is a tiny notch to the inner edge of the vase rim which appears to be a manufacturing fault as it is glazed over - can be seen in photo 10 & 12. This feels smooth to touch as glazed over.
