-Signed: Yes.  The art is signed in pencil in the lower margin "Greg Hildebrandt".  The signature box (which reads "Uslan  Hildebrandt") in the lower left corner is a stat (not original signatures). 

-Description: This is the original artwork for the 12-7-1995 daily comic strip Terry and The Pirates by Greg and Tim Hildebrandt (aka "The Brothers Hildebrandt").  This was the second incarnation of the strip (the first having been drawn by Milton Caniff and George Wunder).  Written by Michael Uslan (producer of some of the Batman movies) and drawn by the Hildebrandt Brothers (renowned fantasy and science-fiction artists), this strip featured updated versions of Terry, Pat Ryan and The Dragon Lady.  Pat and Terry were members of "The Alliance", a group dedicated to foiling the schemes of The Dragon Lady, who was now an international businesswoman (but still a criminal and still crazy gorgeous).  In this daily, from the "Satellite Pirates" story arc (running 9/25/1995-12/31/1995) the Dragon Lady and her cohorts are being held at gunpoint.  A mysterious rescuer shoots the pistol from the would-be-killer's hand.  Nicely rendered and rare original art (the Hildebrandt Brothers only drew the strip from March 26, 1995 to March 31, 1996). -The art is in excellent overall condition.  Minor age/handling wear.  Pencil notes to reverse.
