Description:
For your consideration is this antique The Hunchback of Norte Dame by Victor Hugo hardcover book copyright 1888. Illustrated with 32 pieces of art by various French artists. There is a personalized note by a previous owner on the first page, dated 1925 - as seen in the eighth picture. Publication information as seen in the ninth and tenth pictures. I am not a vintage book dealer by trade but there is some kind of residue on the first few pages - as seen in the seventh and eighth pictures - but it only on the first few pages. Instead the pages seen in the eleventh and twelfth pictures are accurate representations of the book - relatively clean with signs of age. The last few pages are starting to fray from the spine - as seen in the last picture. No ex libris marks or tape.
