Rare Vtg Synergistics R-201 Stereo Receiver 1970’ Tested Works Well

Beautiful SYNERGISTICS R-201 AM FM Stereo Receiver

Very good condition, great vintage look and solid function from this Synergistics Model R-201 stereo receiver. This model was one of two receivers offered for only a couple year period by this company based in Cleveland, Ohio. They offered a fairly large line of speakers private label manufactured by RTR and eventually merged into RTR in the early 1980's. This receiver is rated at 20 watts per channel, performs well with small, medium or large loudspeakers. Unit is marked made in Korea but contains Technics style capacitors and Alps tuner front end and power switch. Very similar look to some Pioneer receivers of the era like the SX-450. Nice white backlit display, red stereo indicator and illuminated tuning meter.

Purchased from a recent estate which was the original and only owner.
