Not only was Alan Bean (1932-2018) the 4th man to walk on the moon, he was also a talented artist who's unique perspective allowed him to capture the essence of space exploration through his paintings. This beautiful and highly collectible copy of APOLLO is signed on the limitation page by Alan Bean and is limited to just 3,000 copies of which this is copy number 834.

This copy is crisp, clean and securely bound. No inscriptions or bookplates. Very little wear with the exception of few fine scratches to the gilt on the bottom edge of text block and several line impressions to the pastedown on the front cover. The aforementioned defects were a consideration in the pricing of this book.
