For auction is a vintage solid brass and glass 15” tall boat maritime nautical oil fired kerosene lamp light. Measurements are pictured. I’m unsure on it’s age, it’s probably a reproduction. Although if it is, it’s a well made older one. This is a pretty heavy duty solid well made item. This definitely doesn’t look like it was made in China by a sweatshop worker. I don’t see any names or model numbers. The entire piece shows average moderate signs of use, age and wear. The body and glass are in excellent condition in my unprofessional opinion. The slide out kerosene oil fuel tank reservoir appears to be in good condition as well. It has limited dents or damage, no glass is broken. Unfortunately this unit is missing the burner that screws into the top of the tank. They are mostly cheap and easy to find, depending on brand. The joints on this piece are all braised, they all appear to be intact. As far as I know the reservoir shouldn’t leak although I can’t guarantee it because I’ve personally never tried it and it’s been braised as well. The backside reflector has a shiny corrugated like metal so hopefully it’ll shine bright. The door and clasp works properly as well. I don’t see any major issues or defects. Overall very good craftsman manufactured piece!
