Founded in 2004 by Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion, Veja began as an idea to develop a pair of trainers from completely ecological materials in the name of both fashion and sustainability. They met with organic cotton farmers and wild rubber tappers in the Amazon and in 2005 they released their first shoe. Now, for over a decade, they've created some amazing contemporary silhouettes.
A pair of women's trainers from VEJA, made from a canvas of organic and regenerative cotton, with a vulcanised outsole using Amazonian and recycled rubber, leading to a toe cap. On the inside, they have a shock-absorbent insole.
Branding is simple with water-based screen printed V logos to the sides and a logo patch to the tongue.
