The Little People by John Christopher. Published by Simon and Schuster in 1966. This is a first edition / stated First printing.

The book itself is ex-library and definitely has some issues. Spine lean. Cloth is a little soiled. Edges of board and done are lightly worn. Library stamp on bottom exposed edge of text block. Pastedowns have glue and dust jacket remnant marks. Ffep had remnants of old library card holder as well as some writing. Gutter between title page and prior page has clear tape in it. Other pages are relatively clean but there are a some with corner creases and blemishes/stains here and there. The worst are a few pages towards the end the have longer grayish stains. See pictures.

Dust jacket is quite nice compared to the condition of the book. Minor closed tears, chipping (most noticeable at base of spine), creasing, some rubbing and soiling, etc. On the reverse of the dust jacket there is some evidence that the dust jacket flaps were glued to the book. This is evidenced by some of the back paper pealing from the jacket where the glue was. There is also a thin piece of tape a little over an inch long near the spine. Still present nicely. See pictures to judge condition for yourself.
