Red Maple is a popular shade tree. Fast growing tree maturing to 40 to 50 feet tall with an upright rounded crown. In spring small red blooms make the tree appear to glow and it is these blooms which the tree gets its name. Come autumn the tree develops striking fall color.

Hardy USDA zones 3 through 9. Adaptable to a wide range of soil conditions and is tolerant of both drought and wet sites.
