This Custonized SS1 Soldier Story Figure Represents a Norse Viking Woman named Sigrid "The Haughty".

Sigrid was married to King Eric the Victorious. When he died Sigrid earned the Nickname "The Haughty" when she defied King Olaf Tryggvasson during a marriage proposal. He demanded that Sigrid convert to Christianity.

Her response was, "I will not part from the faith which my forefathers have kept before me." Olaf slapped her for that statement.

After King Olaf slaps Sigrid for rejecting Christianity, she threatens, "This may someday be thy death."

Sigrid then sets up a coaliton of allies against King Olaf. King Sven Folkbeard of Denmark was one of these allies. Sigrid married Sven Forkbeard and Olaf was eventually killed in The Battle of Svolder.
