This antique leather religious book comes in its original box and is titled Blessed Be God: A Complete Catholic Prayer Book by Very Rev. Charles J. Callan and Very Rev. John McHugh, copyright 1925, 744 pages. It measures 4” x 6-1/4". This beautiful book contains regular and special prayers, popular devotions, favorite novenas, meditations and readings from The Holy Bible and The Imitation of Christ, and Epistles and Gospels for Sundays and Holidays. There is a ribbon marker and several antique prayer cards as well as a handmade cross tucked inside.

The book is in very good condition with no stains, tears or writing of any kind except for a name stamp on the title page with some ink bleed. Some pages have a bit of waviness on the tops of the pages. The cover is in excellent condition with only very minor wear. The binding is tight. The gold gilded pages have very mild mild wear.
