This collection represents a selection of works in various media and styles by Ruth Lacon which span over a period of 17 years.  Ruth Lacon is an artist with unique skills that combine to create powerful visions of Tolkien's works that are both intellectually and artistically satisfying.

She has worked on many iconic scenes from The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, Farmer Giles of Ham, Roverandom, Unfinished Tales and The Book of Lost Tales.  Ruth primarily works in gouache, though she also works with pen and ink and produces pieces in black and white as well as full colour.  Her borders are also wonderful.
