Maxell LN Early Gen Reel to Reel Tape, LP, 7" Reel, 1800 ft, Refurbished

Maxell sold a lot of LN (Low Noise - Type 2) tapes in the 1970s, but their market reputation was made with their UD Series (Ultra Dynamic) tapes, a series of Low Noise / High Output tapes (type 3). The LN Series came in two basic varieties - a true low noise version and a newer version one that was really a Low Noise / High Output tape (you can tell by the "Improved" marking on the box) and was probably a rebadged version of an older UD formulation.

What are refurbished tapes?

• Reels are placed in a plastic bag and sealed with a label once it has passed our quality control check.
• The package is renewed – the box is either shrink-wrapped, the RR label is affixed to the box, or an insert is placed in the box.
