You are viewing one live 4-6 feet tall HOOD PEAR TREE. Pear trees are easy to grow, growing 15-20 feet tall.

* Produces very large, soft, greenish-yellow sweet, crisp, and juicy pears used for eating fresh, baking, canning, and drying.

* Blight resistant and grows very well in the South Eastern US.

* This variety is self-pollinating, however it is much more productive with another variety to cross-pollinate with.

* Ripening in late summer.

* Hardy to USDA hardiness zones 8-10

* Requires very low chill hours 100-200, meaning the minimum hours required between 34-45 degrees F each winter for the fruit bearing tree to blossom.

* Space trees 15-20 feet apart.

* Plant in full sun, therefore at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
