* Produces large, soft, yellow-brown, among the sweetest, crisp, and juicy pears excellent for eating fresh, and drying.
* Plant this variety with Hosui or Shinko variety to cross-pollinate with.
* Ripening in mid-season.
* Very productive
* Hardy to USDA hardiness zones 5-9
* Requires 450 chill hours, meaning the minimum hours required between 34-45 degrees F each winter for the fruit bearing tree to blossom.
* Space trees 15-20 feet apart.
* Plant in full sun, therefore at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
We will remove the pot, wrap the roots and soil with wet paper towels, seal in a plastic bag and ship via USPS priority mail to assure freshness. We ship to all 50 states and territories including CA, HI, Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands with TX Ag Dept. Inspection Certificate on all plants going out of state. When you get the tree, put it in healthy soil and water as needed.
