Here are two super-rare DC COMICS model sheets and color guides from 1982 and 1986 that show the various Pantone colors that were to be used to color the company's heroes and villains. There are an amazing array of characters on these two sheets, including Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Shazam, Supergirl, Green Arrow, Hawkman, Flash, Plastic Man, Aquaman, Batgirl, Hawkgirl, Robin, Green Lantern the Teen Titans, Lex Luthor, Riddler, Catwoman, Moker, Penguin, Cheetah, Firestorm, Black Canary, and, perhaps most bizarre of all, the Super-Juniors versions of Superman Batman, Robin, Wonder woman, Supergirl, Flash and Green Arrow. The Super-Juniors were a line of baby-sized versions of the DC characters that were developed in the 1980s, but they were never really marketed in the United States, just overseas. Finding official branded US items with the Super-Juniors is almost impossible, but here they all are on the 1982 model sheet.. These two pages were probably sent to companies that were making  merchandise featuring the DC heroes. These 8.5 x 11" model sheets were not made available to the general public, and very few copies have survived over the decades. Both are in near-mint condition, which is amazing considering that is is over 30 years old.
