The Summit Ultramax A/S is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Summit offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

This tire offers excellent year-round performance. The asymmetric tread design and the all season compound manage to improve the dry, wet, and winter road grip. These elements work together to promote a safe performance. In other words, this tread design can closely follow the road surface, while the compound maintains rubber flexibility in summer and winter conditions. On the other hand, optimal tread grooves eliminate water and slush from below the footprint and resist hydroplaning. These elements guarantee a safe driving experience throughout the year.

The model promotes exceptional controllability and handling. This tread design firmly grips the road surface with the use of extra biting edges, enabling the tire to keep consistent road contact. As a result, this improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time is quicker and more precise to the driver’s instructions, while the structure is safe. These elements guaranteed the driver’s excellent control over the vehicle at all times.

A fuel-efficient performance is offered with this tire. The stronger all-season compound and excellent traction minimize the pressure placed on the tread area. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
