This is a wonderful old book about Maine, complete with many, many fascinating old photographs (full-page) of Portland and of some surrounding islands, the mid-Coast region and Mount Desert, Castine;  also areas like Rangeley and Moosehead, but with a great old photo of the falls in Skowhegan and Mt. Katahdin & more.    

Hinges both cracked and with some looseness; all holding together at present.   Covers show some wear, but front illustrated cover is in pretty nice shape.    First endpaper is present but torn out.    A really, really nice historical Maine book.
