This listing is for:

🦐 Freshwater Scuds or Gammarus Shrimp.  They make excellent live fish food as well as being excellent scavengers.

1, 2, 3 or 4 Breeding Pair of Gammarus Shrimp

I will include a few unsexed extras.  If you don't want extras with your pairs, you must message me or I will include extras.  I always include extras to make up for any loss during transit.  You'll get unsexed extras that might pair up during the shipping process.

-OR-

10, 15, 20, 25 or 50 Unsexed Gammarus Shrimp

Extras are included to make up for any loss during shipping.  Your unsexed scuds could pair up during transit.

👉👉Your scuds will ship within two business days of ordering.  The animals will be packaged in a sealed, breathable aquatic bag with water & a small piece of filter foam (unused) & a small dried leaf so they (scuds) have something to attach to and eat during their transit.  DO NOT discard your scud water if you can help it.  Your water will typically contain micro baby scuds that got picked up while gathering your order.  These scuds will help populate your culture.

🦐🦐 If you order more than one packet of scuds they will be combined for shipping.  Meaning if you order 4, you will get 4 but in one bag.  If you don't want your scuds shipped all together in 1 bag, you must let me know with your order.

I offer only Priority Shipping during the winter so your scuds will arrive alive.  You may want to watch your weather and order when temperatures aren't below freezing.

Scuds are tiny.  Ranging from so small you can barely see with your naked eye, to pepper fleck size, to 1/4".  I do not count the scuds down to the exact amount, it's too difficult, however I do make sure that there are more than what you ordered in the event of death during transit.  If you don't see scuds, please take a picture of your bag before opening in the event that there was a mishap during transit.  Your scuds could be hiding in the corners of the bag or in the sponge bits provided. You can also tip your bag upside down (while still closed) to get them out of the corners of the bag.  Scuds will curl themselves into tiny balls when trying to hide.  Sometimes you might receive a few shells, a bit of plant matter or sand from the aquariums the scuds are housed in.  I do my best to eliminate all of the detritus, however scuds cling to anything and everything making it impossible to get only scuds most of the time.

Contact me if you have any issues with your order.
