This is a pair of original antique (early 20th century) porcelain cloisonne- style boudoir lamps with colorful enameled peacocks, flowers, and butterflies with a black background. They appear to be enameled porcelain but might not have the metal borders separating the colors as a true cloisonne piece would. Both lamps have an early clip-on shade but they don't match. One is a rare "sugar shade" with hand painted flowers, and the other is pleated with pink flowers. Both have newer fringe glued to the bottom, and the pleated shade has new trim around the top as well.

Both lamps are in very good condition with no cracks, repairs, or other major damage. The shades, however, have some tears, holes, and repairs. The hand painted sugar shade has some glued tears and a few spots that have been touched up with paint. It is very fragile and brittle, but does not have any loose or missing pieces. The pleated shade has some tears that have not been repaired and is stained from age. Both clip securely to a standard bulb.

The lamps have mismatched sockets and cords; one was likely updated early on, and both are working. Some electrical components are original and all should be inspected for safety before use.

The lamps each measure 9" H x 3 1/2" in diameter. With the shades clipped in place, they stand 13-14" H. All pieces will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping.
