Performed on May 6th, 1977, it serves as an important signpost in his development and career. Transmitted shortly before the astronomical success of The Stranger, which would be released just four months after, propelling him onto the global stage and garnering critical acclaim. Joel previews two tracks from the album here, along with early classics. Included is arguably his most iconic song, and moniker, Piano Man.
