This is the hip-hop group's fourth album. It dropped on June 7, 2005, two years after Elephunk, debuting at #2 on the Billboard 200, selling nearly 300k copies in its first week on its way to being a 3x Platinum record. Four singles were releasedreceived six Grammy Award nominations, took home two Grammy Awards, yielded four singles and has sold more than 9,000,000 copies worldwide. The album artwork is by Shepard Fairey with photographs by Albert Watson.


BEP members will.i.am, Taboo, apl.de.ap, and Fergie worked with a number of producers and guest artists, with the end result being an album that transcends the hip-hop genre, mixing wildly eclectic influences into the album tapestry. Along with rap are funk, rai, electro, soul, jazz, reggae, and small doses of country ("Gone Going") and surf ("Pump It").
