Announcements!!

Mid Year Sale Event!!  Twice a year I list all my original items out at my lowest opening bid.  This is that week!  If you are interested in anything I have, you will not get from me at a lower price.  This is a great time to pick up a few items no question about it.

1.  I do combine shipping unless otherwise noted.  I do whatever I can to offset the USPS crazy shipping rates...

2.  Follow me at my new Facebook page at SemperFi Jeep Restorations.  I post often on upcoming auctions and early preview pics of auction items.

3.  If you are looking for a complete frame, donor tub panels or motors, let me know.  I'm going to finally market out some larger items I normally don't sell.  Send me a message for what you might be needing.

Hello to all and thanks for checking out my auctions this week.  It's my responsibility to provide you with the most information possible about the items I'm listing.  It is your responsibility to make sure this item is the one you need for your project or restoration.  So please do your research and make sure it's what you need.  We all know that Bubba had a knack for mix-matching old jeep parts so all items are sold as is and non returnable.  If you're looking for a specific item or part, please let me know and I'll see what I have on the shelf or out in the jeep bone yard.  I'll do my best to get it listed next time around.

You are looking at an original set of tool box locks that came off of 1942 GPW.  These original locks are actually a pretty hard to come by since much of the time they are trashed out and can't be salvaged.  This set is quite solid and overall it will not get much better than right here. Are they perfect? nope...  But they are clean and still have nice open and close action.  The internal locking mechanisms will need to be re-keyed by a locksmith as a few brass plungers are missing.  If you didn't care about locking then they work no problems but if you wanted to lock them, they will need to be dialed in by a locksmith.  All the locks I've used over the years I've taken to a locksmith for fine tuning so any established professional should be able to tackle the plungers with no problem.  Other than that the quality really won't get too much better than what these have to offer up.  Cleaned, buffed by hand and ready to go.  Winning bidder should be pleased with the purchase and what you see here is what you will get in your mail box. This is the only the show prospect locks I will be offering up in 2024 so if they make my opening bid, great!!!  If not I will just hold onto and use it myself.  Originals in this kind of condition do not come up for sale often so if you are a purist, it certainly is worth some consideration.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK ME BEFORE YOU PLACE A BID.   Domestic shipping is estimated out at $10.00 and since I do not know where this will end up, if there is a large difference on the S/H, I will simply issue the winning bidder some type of refund via paypal.   Overseas buyers can expect to pay more for obvious reasons and please note I will not change final customs amount.  Your final bid is the declared value so please do not ask me to lower the customs declared value.  It is what it is and I just won't do it.  Also note I do not make a profit on S/H but do make enough to cover the cost of packing things correctly and the simple fact I have to drive a long way into town to mail this stuff out.  So I gladly combine items as long as they fit in the same box.  Anything I can do to help on costs I do.  I only accept paypal or other forms of online payments.  It's quick it's painless and the only way I do business.  Payment must be received within 5 days from the close of auction and items will ship within 3 days of that.  No exceptions and no excuses.  If your not serious about the item, please do not waste our time.  I've been buying and selling on Ebay since 1999 and my feedback is PERFECT so bid with confidence.  Thanks for looking, good luck and Semper Fi to my fellow Marines!
