5.5" Green Speckled Flared Vase
Original Foil Label, Morton, Illinois (as is)

Offered: A large vintage vase with flared rim, with the original foil label for American Art Potteries of Morton, IL (dating late 1940s or 1950s, I believe). The line is called "Starline," with a narrow foot ring and a pretty green glaze with fine brown speckles throughout. The vase measures 5.5 inches high, 7 inches wide across the rim, and 2.75 inches wide across the foot. 

The vase has one large condition problem, a very tight hairline crack (about 4 inches down the side), difficult to see, but I can feel with my thumbnail. See closeup photos with red arrows, where I have tried to adjust the photos a bit to make the crack more visible. Because of this, the vase is being listed "as is."

The bottom has a stamped mark that looks like the number "3" in a circle. The gold foil label reads: "Starline | American Art Potteries | Morton, ILL."
