The Debden Eagles, by Garry L. Fry, subtitled 'The 4th Fighter Group in World War II'

Book published by Walker Smith in 1970, 102 pages. Paperback - c.21.5cm by 27.5cm (A43N3)

Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs, this book provides a fascinating pictorial history of the 4th Fighter Group during the Second World War (they were nicknamed the Debden Eagles because they were based at RAF Debden in Essex)

Condition of the book is generally good. The covers have some minor scuffs, and light creasing and wear along the edges and corners, but the spine is intact and all pages are clean, intact, unblemished and tightly bound. There is a small previous owners sticker on the bottom of the inside front cover.

When we post our books, we take great care in packaging them - first your book will be wrapped in bubblewrap, which protects the book and even keeps out any rain (in the event that it's raining when the postie delivers it!). Then we wrap your book in stiff cardboard, taking care to make sure all the corners are protected, and finally the package is wrapped in thick brown paper.
