Here Are Few Frequently Asked Questions And Quick Tips To Get Started

Q: Why the APP won't show the real time recording?

A: The cellular data will cause the live feed not to be viewed. Please disable the "Ficam" cellular data of your cellphone. (For Latest iOS System: Setting→Ficam→Click "Wireless Data"→Select "WLAN" ; For Older iOS System: Setting→Ficam→Disable the "Cellular Data")

Q: How to activate this dash cam's parking monitoring function?

A: M26 dash cam support 24 hours recording only when it is connected to a mini USB hardwire kit (NOTE: HARDWIRE KIT NOT INCLUDED), please connect the hardwire kit to you fuse box. (If you don't know how to install the hardwire kit, please ask a professional for help)

Q: Why my car camera is showing "Memory Error" or no saved videos in loop nothing at all?

A: (1) Please purchase a Class 10, U3 Speed Micro-SD Card, recommended SD card for M26 dash camera (support up to 128 GB):SAMSUNG Class 10, U3 Speed Micro-SD Memory Card. Please don't use any "SanDisk Ultra" or other "Generic Class 10" Cards from third-party sellers and format the new SD card via the dash cam before use (NOTE: MEMORY CARD NOT INCLUDED);

(2) Now plug in to the power. The camera will turn ON automatically with voice remind "please format the SD card". Then go to the Ficam APP setting and format the SD card. Ficam APP download and connection please refer to the manual;

(3) If you still get the same memory card error message, then your camera's memory card assembly has become defective.

Q: Unable to connect to my Mobile phone? Will not recognize Wi-Fi and does not show up on the list? Unable to format card you keep saying cannot find device or camera not connected?

A: (1) Use the pin to insert the "Reset" holes for 10-15 seconds. Reset the M26 dash cam; (Don't include the reset pin, you can use the pin instead)

(2) Please restart your phone and reconnect the WiFi again.

About Ficam APP

  1. You can search for Ficam in the app store to download the app;
  2. The built-in WIFI is used to connect the camera and APP, not for internet access (WiFi password: 12345678);
  3. In order to make the APP work properly, please authorize the network and location of Ficam in your phone (your information can only be viewed by yourself);
  4. When you use your own data cable to connect the camera to the car's center console, it may cause the app to fail to connect;
  5. If you are prompted to "format the memory card", it is normal, please click "format" in the settings of the app;
  6. The cellular data will cause the live feed not to be viewed. If the APP won't show the real time recording, please disable the "Ficam" cellular data of your For Latest iOS System: Setting→Ficam.

  • For Latest iOS System: Setting→Ficam→Click "Wireless Data"→Select "WLAN" .
  • For Older iOS System: Setting→Ficam→Disable the "Cellular Data".

About SD Card

  • A memory card is NOT included in the packaging. Max Support 128GB Micro SD Card;
  • Please use Class 10, U3 Speed Micro-SD Card for Video is required. We Recommend SAMSUNG Class 10, U3 Speed Micro-SD Memory Card;
  • Please DON'T USE any "SanDisk Ultra" or other "Generic Class 10" Cards from third-party sellers. They are NOT made for FHD high-end dash cam like this one;
  • Before you start using a new memory card, you must format the SD card via Ficam APP firstly.

About Indicator Light

  • Always on blue light: power on, not in working condition;
  • Blinking blue light: being recorded;
  • Blinking white light: has been connected to the APP.
  • Camera recording has nothing to do with whether to connect APP.
