Tender is the Night - originally published in 1934, copyright renewed 1961 "Set in the south of France in the late 1920s, Tender Is the Night is the tragic tale of a young actress, Rosemary Hoyt, and her complicated relationship with the alluring American couple Dick and Nicole Diver. A brilliant psychiatrist at the time of his marriage, Dick is both husband and doctor to Nicole, whose wealth pushed him into a glamorous lifestyle, and whose growing strength highlights Dick’s decline."

The Last Tycoon - An Unfinished Novel. Originally published 1941, this reissue is from 1969. Fitzgerald died suddenly of a heart attack after having written the first episode of Chapter 6 of this novel. His writing method included extensive rewriting so this is truly an unfinished novel. He did leave behind notes and based on this others worked to publish this work. It gives a contrast to his other completed works.
"It is the story of the young Hollywood mogul Monroe Stahr, who was inspired by the life of boy-genius Irving Thalberg, and is an exposé of the studio system in its heyday."
