How to choose the correct wheel spacers:
STEP. Check 3 specifications
The following is the easy and simple way to check the bolt pattern/PCD, center/hub bore and thread pitch. If you donot sure, please just message us with the year, make and model of vehicle.
1). Check Vehicle Bolt Pattern/PCD For 4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug, measure the segment from the CENTER of a bolt hole TO the CENTER of another hole. 5 lug is different, you need to measure the back of the hole to the center of the second bolt hole (not center point).(See Bolt Pattern Diagram below)
2). Check Vehicle Hub/Center Bore Size Measure the diam of the center bore on hub, make sure the spacer's diam is equal to or bigger than the axle diameter.
3). Check Vehicle Thread Pitch There are different types of studs, such as M12x1.25, M14x1.5, M12x1.5, 1/2"x20, 9/16"x18, please make sure the studs of wheel spacers is the same as the vehicle's, otherwise the spacer will not fit.
How to install the wheel spacers:
1). IMPORTANT - ADAPTER OR SPACER MUST SIT FLUSH AGAINST VEHICLE HUB, AND WHEEL MUST SIT FLUSH AGAINST ADAPTER OR SPACER! Stock studs must be trimmed down (shortened) if they protrude past the surface of the adapter or spacer. If not, vibration or other problems can occur. Some wheels have pockets that may allow for no stud trimming. If not, studs MUST be trimmed.
2). Make sure the mounting surface (vehicle hub) is clean and For flat, and remove all retaining clips.
3). Install the adapter to the vehicle, with the proper lug nuts, and torque to manufacturer’s wheel torque specs.
4). Install the wheel to the adapter by torquing to the vehicle manufacturer’s wheel torque specifications (again, max 140 ft-lbs). Please assure the proper thread engagement (6 to 8 full turns) on lug nuts or bolts.
5). Drive the vehicle. If no problems (noise, vibration, anything out of the ordinary), drive about 5 miles, then re-torque the lug nuts attaching the spacer or adapter to the hub.
