RARE,  VINTAGE, TRADITIONAL, AUTHENTIC, WARM WHITE CORAL, BEAD, HAORI HIMO, TYING CORD FOR HAORI KIMONO JACKET WITH GRADUATED ROUND BEADS

Haori himo ties are the normal, traditional, cords that attach to the little loops inside a haori kimono jacket. They are usually made of two small silk ties which are tied across the chest and show at the front giving a nice finish to the jacket.

This pair is unusual and special, being made out of small round graduated, coral beads.  The colour is an warm off white. So white with a hint of cream/ivory. 

The himo cord will show at the front of the haori jacket like a gorgeous piece of jewellery.

The small hooks are made of silver coloured metal. 

CONDITION: Probably unused or otherwise very gently used. The coral himo seem to be mint condition with no faults or signs of wear.   Coral is a natural product and so can have a few small, naturally occurring pits and striations. Whilst there are none obvious on this item, a few can be seen with a jewellers loupe magnifying glass. This is a vintage item in overall fabulous shape. 

SIZE: The cord is a typical size and measures 5.5"/14cm from end of one hook to the other. This is a normal sort of size. The centre bead is about 7mm in diameter.
The himo weigh only 5g.

A NOTE ABOUT POSTAGE. Despite being small and light, these himo, when packed are too bulky to be classed as a letter and must be sent as a large letter. That is reflected in the postage costs. I will be using tracked postage.

Delivery Address – I can only post to the address shown on the paypal/ebay payment, otherwise none of us are protected by the paypal/ebay policies.

Payment and postage terms: The postal charge includes a small packaging and handling charge. eBay now charge a final value fee commission on the postal charge as well as the item value. So I have had to pass this new cost on via the postal cost.

UK buyers – I have to used tracked postage now to protect both the buyer and seller in case of problems with delivery.

On post to overseas.- I am now using the eBay Global Shipping Programme, so the shipping rates are not set buy me. Once the item has left my hands, the control of the shipping is with eBay.

Combined postage for UK buyers, depending on what you buy, I will look into the most secure and economical way to send combined parcels and advise you of options. But, as the weight and value of the parcel rises so does the postage cost. Please do not expect large savings on combined postage. Sometimes it is actually cheaper to send more than one parcel.

RETURNS POLICY – I do not take returns except in the exceptional circumstance of an item being wrongly described. Please understand that selling items on ebay and posting them out incurs costs to me, so please don't buy unless you have read the description carefully and are sure that you want the item.
