The Armstrong Tru-Trac SU is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for SUVs.

Armstrong offers one of the best warranties in the tire industry. The brand promotes a limited 6-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. They also provide a road hazard warranty and 24/7 roadside assistance for the first 2 years after the purchase is made. Furthermore, Armstrong provides a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire ensures great all weather traction. The asymmetric tread design's siping detail and the all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet, and winter weather road gripping ability. They ensure the tire's consistent and firm road contact to boost the tire's high speed performing capability throughout the year. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint to improve the wet and winter weather traction. This ensures a safer year-round performance.

The model is easily controlled even during its high speed performance. The tread's excellent controllability is the result of its wider footprint, which keeps its road contact constant, and the stronger sidewall construction, which prevents the shape's deformation. This combination boosts the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's instructions, while also stabilizing the tire structure.
